Data sharing and archiving are encouraged for all scholars. We think this helps research by allowing other researchers to reuse and reinterpret data for the good of all, and it is now required by a number of grant sponsors. In order for their data to be mentioned in their articles, we encourage all authors to make it available in appropriate repositories (like FigShare or another comparable repository). There, the data will be securely stored and assigned a unique reference number (DOI or something similar).
