Misconduct

Regarding ethical standards and handling misconduct, VILNIUS TECH and the journal adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Falsifying information, copying someone else’s work, and violating confidentiality are examples of misconduct. The editor-in-chief and publisher will evaluate each situation, and the author (or reviewer) will always be notified directly.

However, if serious wrongdoing is suspected, the publisher retains the right to contact the reviewer’s or author’s institution or another suitable organization immediately.

Please take note that the manuscript will be held until any issues have been addressed if misbehavior is discovered throughout the review process. A paper will be rejected right away if misbehavior is discovered throughout the review process. The article will be withdrawn if misbehavior is discovered after it has been published.
